Daniel A. Norton, 60, of Minoa, passed away suddenly surrounded by his family. Dan graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He was the owner of KW Control and currently was a manufacturer's representative at R. F. Peck in Syracuse. He was a member of the Fayetteville United Methodist Church. Dan had been an ESM Marching Band Booster and enjoyed passions for boating and the St. Lawrence River. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judi; children, Scott, Tom (Brandie) and Stacey (John) Messina; father, Robert; brother, Robert (Kevilyn); sister, Debbie (Brad) Ernst; grandchildren, John, Chiara, Benjamin, Leah and Anthony; and nieces and nephew, Terri, Rebecca, Keith and Katie. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3 at the Fayetteville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery.
