Douglas M. Allen BROCKTON Douglas M. Allen, 45, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Jan. 2, 2009. Raised in Brockton, Doug graduated Brockton High School in 1981. He was co-owner of Easton Insurance Agency, Inc. on Route 138 in Easton, with his mother and was a former adjustor with Aetna Insurance. Doug was a musician, playing guitar and bass locally, was a longtime friend, mentor and coach with Brockton Youth Hockey, enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Brockton Country Club, coached soccer, enjoyed fishing and going to the beach and was a member of the Board of Directors of Metro South Insurance Agents. Douglas was a dear son of Ronald and Dolores Allen of Brockton; beloved husband of Michelle; loving father of Ashley, Casey and Justin; brother of Bill Allen of Quincy; son-in-law of Mary and James Morrill of Florida; and brother-in-law of James and Brian Morrill. All are welcome to calling hours, Tuesday, 4-8 p.m., in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and burial at Melrose Cemetery.
