Services for Cynthia F. "Ba-Ba" Robert, 44, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy "Be-Be" Williams Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.Visiting hours will be observed today from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday at 7 a.m. until the time of service.A resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Robert died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005, at her residence following a lengthy illness.Mrs. Robert was a faithful member of Anderson Street Church of Christ.She is survived by her husband, Randolph Paul Robert Sr. of New Iberia; father, Donald Williams of Loreauville; step-father, Robert Fusilier of New Iberia; two sons, Randolph Paul Robert Jr. and Gerald John Robert of New Iberia; two daughters, Donna Robert Stokes and husband Christopher and Jennifer Ann Robert of New Iberia; seven sisters, Evelyn Conway and husband Junius, Debra Curley and husband Adam, Amanda Mitchell and husband Kevin, Carol Joseph all of New Iberia, Donna Lyn Yates and husband Peter of Fairfield, Calif., Kandis Williams of Senora, Ga. and Ashley Williams of San Diego; two brothers, Wendell Paul Williams of Portland and Waylen K. Williams of Richmond, Calif.; paternal grandmother, Isabelle Batiste of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Christopher Stokes, Dyamine Stokes, Ajanae B. Turner, A'Dreana Willis and Eljontah Johnlewis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Mrs. Robert was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Doucette, maternal grandparents, Louis and Elsie Brown; paternal grandfather, Leonard Williams and a niece, DeShella Conway Shaw.Pallbearers will be Leonard Brown Jr., D'Adario Conway, Junius Conway Jr., Terry Brown, Tyrone Hayes and Anthony Thibodeaux.Honorary pallbearers will be Randolph P. Robert Sr., Donald Williams, Randolph P. Robert Jr. and Gerald J. Robert.Fletcher Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
