Clyde Russell Baird, 71, of LaFollette, died Jan. 25.He was born in Elk Valley on July 24, 1942. He retired from the LaFollette Housing Authority as maintenance supervisor after 50 years of work.He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Baird Harris and Fred Baird.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patsy Baird; three sisters, Betty Boshears and husband, Donnie, Faye Arrowood and husband, Bobby, and Wanda Kay Sobkowiak and husband, Wally; brothers-in-law and sisters in law, Jim Allen and Jackie Allen of LaFollette, Haskell and Sue Powell, of Orlando, Fla., Wanda Orick of LaFollette, Jewell Myers, Georgia and Jim Comer, of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were Jan. 27 with the Rev. Ronnie Arnold and the Rev. Randy Comer officiating. Interment was Jan. 28 at Bakers Forge Cemetery.Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
