Avis de décès de Clifford Thompson


Clifford C. Thompson. Beloved father and husband, passed away on August 13, 2006 in New Port Richey, Florida. He was 83. Born in White Plains, NY on December 22, 1922, he graduated from White Plains High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, participating in the European Theater. A longtime resident of Hawthorne, NY, he relocated to Florida in 1980. He was employed by the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., as a meat cutter and manager for forty years and worked in White Plains, Tuckahoe, Briarcliff Manor and Millwood. He was a former member of VFW Post 532 in White Plains and a volunteer member of the Hawthorne, NY Fire Department. He is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (nee Eirich) Thompson. He is survived by three children: Mitchell, of New Port Richey, FL, Linda, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Robert, of New York City; his sisters-in-law, Sr. Barbara Eirich, of Hastings, Alyce Thompson, of Watertown, CT; brother-in-law, Gunnar Lindstrom, of Sandy Hook, CT, and five grandchildren. Memorial Service, Friday, August 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Kensico Cemetery Chapel, Valhalla, followed by interment.
