Clara Blanche "Roper" Patterson, age 93, of Alpharetta, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. Blanche was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Canton, Ga. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Patterson; sisters, Lavora Roper DeLong, Vicie Roper Hulsey, Charlsie Roper Darracott, Elliece Roper Butterworth; brothers, Norman Roper, Lester Roper; and a great-grandson, Peyton Lawson.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Tom Lawson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Evelyn Roper, Ray and Louelle Roper, Clay Roper, all of Gainesville; sisters-in-law, Hazel Andrews, Lincolnton, N.C.; Frances Summey, Liberty, S.C,; Patsy Green, Gaffney, S.C.; grandsons, Mark (Danielle) Lawson, Steven (Nichole) Lawson; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ansley, Mason, Nate, Addison and Brant Lawson, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
