WHITE, Charles Watson, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama born January 24, 1931 in Elmore County passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the age of 82. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church in Elmore. Funeral services are Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sutton and Rev. Walter Batyski officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. White is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Marcum and Bobbie (Drew) Sanford; and brother, Frank White. Pallbearers will be John White, Jim White, Todd Marcum, Philip Royal, Mickey Sanford, and Stan White. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to New Home Baptist Church, 5130 Elmore Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092. He was a very special uncle to his many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Charles was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. To the folks in the community he was the very generous "produce man" who was always willing to share his tomatoes and garden products.
