PRITCHARD, Charles Sinclair C.D. - Born April 1, 1918; died January 25, 2009 in Kingston. Sinclair was the last of the family with whom he grew up on the family farm at Ellisville. This was a Crown Grant to his great-grandfather in 1835, a fact of which he was very proud. After graduating from Queen's University (Art '40) as a member of the Canadian Officers' Training Corps, he joined the Canadian Artillery and served throughout the World War, including service overseas. On leaving the service, he worked for Bell Canada for 30 years in various positions that took him and his family to a number of different homes. He spent a long and rewarding retirement, first on part of the family property at Ellisville and lately in Kingston. Sinclair and Lalage, his wife of 65 years, had four daughters: Moira (married to Rick Jackson) of Kingston, Suzanne Mason of Johnstown, Linda Pritchard of Easington, Yorkshire, England, and Peggy (married to Michael Wheatstone) of Toronto, as well as eight grandchildren and a great-grandson. A memorial reception will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit of St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital would be greatly appreciated. 11395586
