September 8, 1944 - September 9, 2001 Suddenly in hospital after a brief illness. Lifelong companion, husband and best friend of Ann. Father to Sean (Janet) and Meghan (Dominic). Brother of Earl (Kathy, Patrick and Kerry). Predeceased by his parents, Anita and Allen. Son-in-law to Patricia Smith and loved dearly by both extended families. Coach, mentor and loyal friend to many over the years. He was well loved and leaves a legacy of memories for us all. Friends may gather together at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood), Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to Saint Patrick's Basilica, 220 Kent Street for Mass of Christian Funeral at 2 p.m. Donations to the Shepherds of Good Hope would be gratefully appreciated.
