PLYMOUTH Charles J. Hand, of Plymouth, formerly of Holbrook, Avon and Randolph, died July 18, after a period of failing health. He was 74. He grew up in Randolph, graduating from Randolph High School. Charlie lived several years in Avon and Holbrook before moving to Plymouth 8 years ago. He was a clerk in the Randolph Post Office for 32 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the K of C in Randolph and the Irish American Club of Cape Cod and he loved boating, the ocean and anything Irish. He was the beloved husband of Mary C. (Kelleher) Hand; father of Stephen J. Hand of Brockton and JoAnna C. Reppucci of Plymouth; brother of John E. Hand of Medfield. Also survived by his granddaughter, Carolyn and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, Wednesday, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Randolph, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, hours 4-8 p.m. interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Randolph.
