ALEXANDER Charles Henry Alexander, Sr., age 60 of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away on Monday, May 15, 2006 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Mr. Alexander was born on December 17, 1945, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Lamar and Magline Tindall Alexander. He moved to Baker County in 1981. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a master of all trades. Mr. Alexander was of the Baptist faith and was a third degree Mason. He is predeceased by his brothers; Bobby and Jerry Alexander and his sister Diane Strickland. Family members include his children; Chuck (Lisa) Alexander, Pamela (Jason) Hamilton, Michelle Alexander and Melissa Alexander; two brothers; Lamar "Junior" (Lillie Mae) Alexander and Jack Alexander; two sisters; Marilyn (Jack) Moody and Carolyn (Martin) Gabel; and four grandchildren; Cody and Chelsea Alexander and Brittney and Sarah Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006 in the Ferreira Chapel with Pastor Steve Rushing officiating.Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
