GLENMONT Charles H. Redmond, 83, of Glenmont, beloved husband of Corinne (Mickey) Redmond for 23 years, died Friday morning, November 28, 2003, peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in NYC, Charles graduated from High School in Dumont, N.J. He was a member of the graduating class of 1945, Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y. Charles was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Employed by N.Y. Telephone for many years, Charles retired in 1982. He was a member of Normanside Country Club, had been an active member of the Bethlehem Men's Republican Club for many years, a former member of the Bethlehem Planning Board and a member of V.F.W. Post 3185, Delmar, N.Y. In addition to his wife, Mickey, Charles is survived by his former wife Susan G. Redmond of Delmar; his sons, William T. (Kathy) of Ridgewood, N.Y., Charles H. II of Demerest, N.J., R. Graham (Cathy) and Barry J. Redmond, all of Delmar; also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren. It was Charles wish to have his remains given to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
