Decatur<!-- Charles Franklin Harrell -->Funeral service for Charles Franklin Harrell, 67, of Decatur will be Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hugh Bohlin officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Mr. Harrell, who died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Parkway Medical Center, was born Sept. 7, 1942, in Georgia to Charlie F. Harrell and Roberta Davidson Harrell. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Eastern Airlines, where he also served as a union representative. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. His father preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Morgan Harrell; two sons, Jonathan Keith Harrell and his wife, Jenni, and Mathew Todd Harrell and partner Jenny, both of Seattle, Wash.; stepson Daniel Keith Terry and his wife, Christy, of Decatur; his mother, Roberta Davidson Harrell of Ozark; two brothers, Rod Harrell and his wife, Susan, of Decatur and Ted Harrell and his wife, Kathy, of Alexander City; and sister Janey Stephens and her husband, Jerry, of Ozark. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
