WHITEHEAD, CHARLES F. (FRED), 75Ocala - Charles F. (Fred) Whitehead, 75, of Ocala, FL passed away on September 26, 2011. He was born in Middletown, OH on August 20, 1936. A graduate of Middletown HS and Miami Jacobs Business College, he was employed by Sun Oil Co and Arthur Anderson Consulting before retiring in 1992. He served in the US Army in Germany. He is survived by his companion of 48 years Michael Myers, his siblings John Whitehead, Sidne Ann Martin and Linda Lucarello and by 7 nieces and nephews, 18 grand nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents C.C. and Leola Whitehead of Middletown. A memorial service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. His sister, Reverend Sidne Ann Martin will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Marion County or Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) would be appreciated. Cremation provided by Florida Cremation, Ocala.
