JOHNSON, CHARLES E., 75, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Nelson County, and was a retired chemical analyst for Pepsico. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was a former Xaverian Brother for 9 years. Survivors include his wife, Bernadine Niehaus Johnson; three sons, Paul, Neil, and Roger Johnson; two sisters, Angela Craycroft and Frances Osborn; and five grandchildren. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Pius Church, 3521 Goldsmith Lane, with private burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bardstown. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Rd. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Xaverian Brothers Auxiliary, 4409 Frederick Ave., Baltimore, Md., 21229-4102
