Charles Clifton Abbott, 43, of Niceville, Florida passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at his home. Mr. Abbott was a respiratory therapist and was very successful as a Homevestors franchisee. Charles loved to laugh and spend time with his friends. He was a graduate of Mosely High School and graduated from Gulf Coast Community College and FSU in Panama City. Charles was preceded in death by his father Larry Neal Abbott, his grandfather Howard C. Abbott, and his grandmother Beulah M. Abbott. He is survived by his mother Gaye Lawanda Cowan; children Britan Alexa Whaley and Kiersten Lynn Abbott; brothers Mark Abbott, Franky Abbott, and Miles Abbott; cousin James Hance (Paige); special aunt Jewell Hance, her sister Barbara Brown (Lowell) and her brother Sonny Abbott (Barbara) and many extended family members. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
