Avis de décès de Charles-Calvin Thomas

Charles Calvin Thomas, 91, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach, FL. He was a native of St. Joe, Missouri, and during his academic career he attended and graduated from the University of Missouri with his degree in engineering. Following graduation, he resided in Schenectady, NY, where he worked as the vice president and general manager of the General Electric Company for 40 years before his retirement in 1980. During his working career he belonged to the Elfun Society. Following his retirement, Mr. Thomas moved to Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Erika H. Thomas, in February 2009. He is survived by his son, Shaun Thomas of Jacksonville, FL. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
