Mr. Cecil J. Patterson JONESVILLE, SC-- Mr. Cecil Jackson Patterson, age 86, husband of Hazel Gault Patterson of 241 North Main Street, Jonesville, SC, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Patterson Was born in Union County, October 5, 1926, a son of the late Jackson Patterson and Winnie Millwood Patterson. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from Union Automotive. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Jean Deaton and husband Roger of Columbia; a granddaughter, Meredith Boehme and husband John also of Columbia; two sisters, Elaine Lawson and husband Robert of Pacolet, and Bevia Lipsey and husband William of Jonesville; a brother, Charles Patterson and wife Shirley of Pacolet and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Donna Eidson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday evening, December 11 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home, 310 West South Street, Union, SC.
