WYSE, Cecelia Passed away at home on June 21st, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Born on Valdez Island, on June 24th, 1922. Predeceased by her parents; George and Anastasia Thomas; husband, James Rice-Wyse; children, Robert Wyse, Mavis Wyse, and April Nahanee; siblings, Ray Thomas, Bill Thomas, Jackie Thomas, and Margaret Wyse. Survived by her loving family, Joseph Wyse, Lynda Milburn, Arnold Wyse Sr., Cynthia Wyse, Vanessa Dennis, Teri Thomas-Wyse. Numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Wyse was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunty and dear friend. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those lives she touched. Prayers will be offered in Telford's Memorial Chapel, 595 Townsite Road, Nanaimo, BC, on Thursday, June 24th, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial of the Dead, will be celebrated in Mount St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 301 Machleary Street, Nanaimo, BC, on Friday, June 25th, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Father Waldemar Podlasz, celebrant.
