WOODRUFF, SC-- Cathleen Callicott Thomas, 89, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Magnolia Manor in Spartanburg.Born in Abbeville, on February 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ramone Prince Huffman and the widow of Melvin Thomas. She was first married to the late James Estus Callicott.She was a retired employee with Abney Mills and was of the Baptist faith.Mrs. Thomas is survived by two sons, Jack Callicott, of Woodruff, and James Callicott, of Travelers Rest; two daughters, Edith Wright, of Enoree, and Carolyn Cochran, of Woodruff; a step-daughter, Gloria Knight, of Woodruff; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three step grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; and two step great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Brown; and two step sons, Lauriel Callicott and William Callicott.The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Lanford Funeral Home.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev.
