Smith and Sons 731-427-5555 -->Catherine Louise Bell KelsoMrs. Catherine Kelso, age 82 of Jackson, TN, passed away on March 27, 2013 with her family by her side.Funeral services for Mrs. Kelso will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 2 p.m., in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery, with a brief committal service.Mrs. Kelso was born on November 11, 1930 in Shelbyville, TN to the late Lawrence M. Bell and Violet L. Gill Bell. She was married on February 9, 1947. She retired from GMAC after 25 years as a customer service representative. She was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Over the years, she enjoyed going to the river, attending the Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration in Shelbyville, gardening, and attending her grandchildren's ball games.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Kelso (Pete) on October 30, 1990.Mrs. Kelso is survived by One son, Charles R. Kelso (Ronnie) of Jackson, TN; four grandchildren, Shawn L. LaRue of Greenfield, TN, Lori D. Talley of Lexington, TN, Sam D. Kelso of Jackson, TN and David C. Kelso of Jackson, TN. Friends may visit with the Kelso family beginning at 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., at the South Chapel of George A.
