->MANCHESTER - Catherine E. (Kievit) Nardini, 101, of Manchester, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. Born in Passaic, N.J., she resided in Clifton, N.J., before moving to Manchester in 2002. A 1929 graduate of Clifton High School, Catherine was employed as a bookkeeper for Federal Leather Co. in Belleville, N.J. She was a 50-year member of Peace Chapter No. 98 OES and former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, both in Clifton, N.J. Catherine is predeceased by her husband Leo, by a son, Harold Nardini, by three brothers, George R., Elmer L. and Aaron Kievit Jr. and by a sister, Marion Kievit. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Thorgerson and husband, Peter of Goffstown, by five grandchildren, Kevin, Karen, Brian, Allison and Meredith, by nine great-grandchildren and by three sisters, Betty Biehler and husband, Joseph of Clifton, N.J., Patricia Beehler and husband, Maynard and Peggy Woodruff and husband, Alan both of Liverpool, N.Y. . SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Villa Crest HCC, 1276 Hanover St., Manchester, 03104.
