Catherine A. (Cali) Bourassa, age 76, of Framingham, formerly of Natick for many years died, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center, Framingham. She was the wife of 52 years of Armand E. Bourassa of Framingham. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Phyllis (Taralli) Cali. She worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for 17 years until her retirement and was a crossing guard for the Town of Natick for several years at Rt. 135-Lincoln School. Mrs. Bourassa was an active member of the Sons of Italy Grand Lodge for over 34 years where she served as past President of the Natick Sons of Italy and Regina Margherita Lodge of Sons of Italy in Waltham. She was a recipient of the Golden Lion Award. She was also a State Trustee, Recording Secretary and most recently the State Financial Secretary for the Sons of Italy. She was a member of the Columbus Club Bocce and Bowling League in Framingham, the Golden Rays at St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham and taught CCD at St. Linus Church in Natick. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Paul Bourassa of Bellingham and Jo-Ann DAngelo and her husband Paul Jr. of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by her grandson, James Byrne of Jacksonville, FL, her brother Salvatore Cali of Chicago and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Rocco Cali. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, November 24, at 9 AM from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.), Framingham followed by her funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2 | 5 PM.
