Carmen "Cookie" Ortiz, 61, of Navarre, Fla., passed away at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center on Sunday, May 26, 2013. Carmen was born Feb. 29, 1952, to George and Isabell Vasquez in New York, N.Y.Carmen married Manuel D. Ortiz July 13, 1971. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved by all.Carmen is survived by her husband, Manuel D. Ortiz; daughter, Elizabeth Ortiz; granddaughters, Hannah, Elaine and Isabella Bagby; daughter, Rachel Ortiz; grandson, William M. Agerton; son, David Ortiz and daughter-in-law, Samantha Ortiz; and granddaughter, Sophia Ortiz.Visitation will be held Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E. Fort Walton Beach, Fla. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 31, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.
