Town Creek Funeral for Carl H. King, 83, of Town Creek will be today, May 11, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Delashaw and Bro. Jackie Hill officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. King went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 9, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ludie Scoggin King, and son, Guy Wesley King. Survivors include one daughter, Toby Freeman (Don) of Tuscumbia; daughter-in-law, Shannon King; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tracy Dotson, Ashley Freeman, Blake Freeman, Brandon Freeman, Jeff Norwood and Brad Etheridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Williams, Willard Norton, Billy Crisler, Harry Gene Terry and Webb Childress. The family of the late Mr. Carl H. King would like to extend a special thanks to Billy and Betty Crisler for their loving care.
