GAUTHIER, Camille F. (Life long resident of Sudbury and of Azilda) The family announces with sorrow his death, Monday, October 25, 2004, in Ottawa, at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Stan Gauthier and the late Alice Saint-Pere. Loving father of Marc (Nicole Pitre) of Ottawa and Daniel of Sudbury. Dear brother of Normand (Audette Leclair), Simone (Phil Finkle), Laurent (Alma Major), Marcel (Jeannine Poirier). Doris, Fern (Jacques Pigeon) and Denis (Diane Sikatowsky) all of Sudbury area, Raymond (Carmen Martin), and Auguste (Anne Bertrand) of Ottawa, Diane (Aime Pelletier) of New Liskeard and Therese of London, ON. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren Eric, Luc and Stephanie. He also leaves many nephews and nieces as well as very many friends acquired during a lifetime of dedication to community organizations, such as La Semaine Francaise de Sudbury, the regional federal Liberal association, the National Parole Board, The Easter Seal Campaign, in which he was a key member for a number of years, The March of Dimes, Le Club Richelieu de la Vallee, and the Azilda Lions' Club, in particular in its medical equipment program to St. Lucia and Peru. To respect his wishes, there will no visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive friends in Ste-Agnes Church, Azilda, after 1 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2004. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Donations to the Northeastern Ontario Cancer Center would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Co-operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
