OGILVIE, CHARLES HENRY, age 79, of Boone, NC, passed away on May 21. Charles was born in Sanford on August 15, 1926 to Judge Claude and Ethel Ogilvie. He attended Landon High School in Jacksonville, Marion Institute, and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy. He and his wife of forty-four years, Jeanne Edsell Ogilvie, and his son, Chuck, moved to Winter Park in 1962. Charles was executive vice- president of the Industrial Development Corporation of Florida, was a member of Rotary International, the Orlando Country Club and active in the winter Park YMCA building campaign. Charles and Jeanne retired to Boone, NC, in 1991. Mr. Charles Henry Ogilvie is survived by his wife Jeanne of Boone; son, Chuck and wife, Nonie Ogilvie of Winter Park; sister, Claudettte and husband Robert French of St. Simons Island, GA, and brother, Morgan and wife Lee Ogilvie of Jacksonville. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
