CHARLES DUSTER ELMER ENNS Charles Duster Elmer "Chuck" Enns, 57, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at his home of an apparent heart attack. Born in Fort Pierce on October 3, 1956, he attended St. Anastasia Catholic School and was a graduate of John Carroll High School (Class of 1974) and Indian River State College. He was a licensed contractor and was owner of Chuck Enns Construction Company. Mr. Enns served on the Fort Pierce Planning Board, Historic Preservation Board and the Board of Adjustment and Appeals. He was a lifetime member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughters, Audrey Catherine and Emily Cleo, a grandson, John Edward Sullivan, his mother, Catherine Enns, four sisters, Catherine Grigas, Mary Enns, Teresa Edmondson, Meg Enns, three brothers, Michael Enns, Gregory Enns and Jonathan Enns, four nieces and six nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Enns. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Visitation is today (Tuesday) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to John Carroll High School for the Emily Enns Education Fund, 3402 Delaware Ave., Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
