WILLIAMS, Bruce Everett - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, February 23, 2009. Bruce Williams of Fairfield in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Thomas) for 55 years; Loving father of Brenda and Tom Chislett, Margaret and Rick Ferrell, Nancy and Mike Bowman, Ken and Amanda, Murray and Ruth; Dear grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; Dear brother of Velma Murchie; Brother-in-law of Myrtle and Vera Williams, Charlie Sibbick, Doug & Jeannette Thomas, David and Donna Thomas, Sharon and Brian Barrett. Predeceased by parents Herman and Mary, brothers Alvin and Shelby, sister Marguerite Sibbick, sister-in-law Shirley Thomas and grandson Joshua Williams. Bruce was a long time dairy farmer and avid Euchre player. He was a life long member of Fairfield United Church and played the organ there for many years. Friends will be received at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Fairfield United Church on Friday, February 27th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Donna Kerrigan officiating.
