WATERS, Bridget "Mary" Teresa December 5, 1919 - October 9, 2005 Daughter of James and Alice McCluskey (nee Bishop) of Cootehill, County Cavan, Ireland passed away on October 9, 2005 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her two sons, Frank (and Barbara) Waters and Lazar Jovanovic all of Edmonton; four grandchildren, Kimberly and Jonathon Waters and Allan and Christina Haigh; also two sisters-in-law, Midge McCluskey of Wales and Kathleen McCluskey of England; also numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her son, Anthony "Donnell" Waters, first husband Frank Waters, second husband Dr. Lazar Jovanovic, parents James and Alice McCluskey and her siblings, Michael (and Chrissie) McCluskey, May (and Andrew) Matthie (nee McCluskey), Kay (and Charlie) McCloskey, Christina (and Roy) Storry (nee McCluskey), Ann Marie "Nan" (and Joe) McComish (nee McCluskey), Gerry McCluskey, Kevin (and Wyn) McCluskey and Eamon McCluskey. Mom's career as a registered nurse commenced in England during World War II and continued in Canada in 1950. She nursed in Edmonton during the 1960's. Her most rewarding experiences were at the old Charles Camsell Hospital in Edmonton, caring for first nation's patients. Mary enjoyed nature, reading, classical music, opera and travel. Reverend Leo Cordeau will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Edmund Church, 13120 - 116 St., Edmonton, AB on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends who so wish may make memorial donations directly to the Foundation of Newman Theological College, 15611 St. Albert Tr., Edmonton T6V1H3. The family wish to express their deep appreciation for the special care given by Alice Jack and Pat Slack, as well as to the many home care providers and managers.
