Blanche Frances Jones Tapp, 86, of 1012 Hampton Road, widow of Doyle Wilson Tapp, died Oct. 3, 2004, at her home.A native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Robert Henry and Anna Williams Jones, she was a retired employee of Inman Mills, and was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church for 56 years.Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Wilson and Ronda Tapp, of Adairsville, Ga.; a brother and sister-in-law, J.R. and Crystell Jones, of Lyman; a sister-in-law, Lanese Jones, of Lyman; three sisters, Jennie Crow, of Lyman, Ann Merle Massey, of Cooper, Texas, and Lucille Huskey, of Wellford; four grandchildren, Tina and Perry Stone, of Anderson, Lisa and Marty Buffington, of Johnston, Iowa, Lori and Jack Heckman, of Greenville, and Robin and Bryan Whitener, of Lyman; eight great-grandchildren, Ellen Carr and Wilson Stone, both of Anderson, Hank and Max Heckman, of Greenville, Bryan, Wilson, Abigail, and Julianna Whitener, all of Lyman; and a former daughter-in-law, Jane Tapp, of Fort Mill.Mrs. Tapp was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Tapp Pitts; three brothers, Fred, Albert, and Hix Jones; and two grandchildren, Robert Allen Pitts and Robin Ann Pitts.Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Little Mountain Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ansel Norris and the Rev. Harold King. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.Pallbearers will be Perry Stone, Bryan Whitener, Jack Heckman, Marty Buffington, Jayson Shows and Charles F. Whitener.
