NORTH GREENBUSH NY -- Blanche E. Boissy McDonald, 57, of North Greenbush, passed away Friday, February 4, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was born in Albany and lived most of her life in the Rensselaer area. She was a communicant of St. John's Church in Rensselaer. Daughter of the late Raymond and Viola Graves Boissy; mother of Patrick J. McDonald Jr. and Viola Wyckoff; grandmother of Christina Hempstead and Mary Wyckoff; sister of Richard Boissy; loving companion of Dion Dingsor; former wife of Patrick J. McDonald Sr.; stepmother of Kami H. Castle and Deana N. Gausepohl. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Kolodziej and the staff at the Capitol District Cancer Center for their care, concern and support. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Wednesday at 9:00 and 10:00 at St. John's Church, Herrick Street, Rensselaer where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
