BETTY M. JOHNSON-HIRE PALM BAY Betty M. Johnson-Hire, 82, of Palm Bay, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at William Childs Hospice House. Born in Rochester, NY, Betty moved to Brevard County in 1960, then she became one of the original Pink Ladies and served for 17 years. She was also a member of the Mel bourne Beach Garden Club. Betty is survived by her hus band, George Hire; her sons, Eric (Karen) Johnson, Larry (Annie) Johnson and Jeff (Susan) Johnson; six grandchil dren; two great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Audrey Cavall. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Johnson. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 20th at Glenn Brook Retirement Com munity Center in Palm Bay on Briar Creek Blvd. In lieu of flow ers, please make donations to the Alzheimers foundation in Bettys honor. Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
