HODGES, Beatrice 1923 - 2006 Bea passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital on November 16, 2006. The brave and courageous spirit of this woman will not be forgotten. She loved all children and had faith in their absolute goodness. For many years after her children were grown she continued working with children at the West End Day Care. She loved "her Oilers" and was always there to wager with her grandchildren against the Flames. Lovingly remembered by her children Doug (Barbara) Hodges and Maureen (Russell) Bomak; grandchildren Michael, Steven, Douglas and Jennifer and brother Ken (Lorraine) Roy as well as many other family and friends. Bea was predeceased by her husband Reg, her brother Gordon and sisters Jean and Merle. We all understand and remember people in different ways. The remembrance of this woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, will instill various feelings and memories - but one we shall all share is that of love and respect. She will be missed terribly but we can take comfort in knowing she is now at peace with the love of her life and so many more of her loved ones. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held in the spring of 2007 in Westlock, Alberta.
