->DIXMONT - Barbara M. (Parks) Wheeler went home to the Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was born March 9, 1932, daughter of the late Elbert and Blanche Parks.Barbara was married to the late Bernard Wheeler and was the mother of the late Kenneth Wheeler.She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Leroy Hurley of Felton, DE, son and daughter-in-law, Vernard and Holly Wheeler of Bradford, daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Thomas Rafferty of Bangor, daughter, Sara Wheeler of Dixmont, brother and sister-in-law, Enoch and Anita Parks of Benton, brother-in-law, Harlan Wheeler of Freeport, NY, longtime friend, Bertha Thibodeau of Arizona, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of Barbara's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at the East Dixmont Community Church, 34 Church Hill Road, Dixmont. Arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden.
