Mrs. Barbara Pace Johnston, 72, of 105 Earnshaw Avenue, Greenville, SC, died January 24, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.She was born March 5, 1936, to the late Edward and Alice Dunbar Pace. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Johnston; two sons, Terry Johnston and Danny Johnston.She is survived by a loving daughter with whom she shared a special bond, Robin V. Johnston of Simpsonville; a sister, Katherine Bailey of Taylors; a special friend, Harold Boyd of Conestee; special family friends, Dot and John Barnette of Greenville; and family pets, Grace and Bernie.The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at Westville Funeral Home Chapel.
