THOMPSON, Mrs. Barbara Anne - passed away Sunday October 18, 2009 in her 65th year. Barb is survived by her husband Dave of 45 years, daughters Sheri of Welland and Patti (Ron) of Toronto. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren David and Dakota and great-grandchild Colton. Dear sister-in-law of Kathy and Rick Thompson. Barb was extremely active in the Wesley Untied Church UCW as well as being an avid bowler in the Wednesday afternoon 5 pin bowling league. She will also be greatly missed by all the people at The Scrapping Nook which she managed for the last 5 years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at Wesley United Church, 244 First Avenue, Welland, on Saturday October 24th at 10:30 am. with Rev. Kim Wright officiating. Visitation from 10 - 10:30 am., prior to the service. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Welland Harvest Foundation c/o Wesley United Church.
