Cameron.Barb (Bobsie) was born in Rochester, NY and attended Monroe High School. She continued on with her education attaining her nursing degree from the University of Rochester in 1952.She was an active volunteer for many charities and organizations over the years, most recently for Hope Hospice of Fort Myers. Her passion for helping others in time of need was her lifeline to strangers and friends alike.Barb and her husband moved to reside in the Sanibel/Fort Myers, FL area 28 years. She was an avid golfer and cherished her golfing relationships and the many friends made through her years singing with Sweet Adelines.Barb was deeply loved by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Bruce M. Cameron and her sister Shirley "Lee" Johns. She is survived by another sister Patricia Rolfsen of Canandaigua, NY; one son Alexander Cameron (Sian) of Penfield, NY; three daughters Dale Cameron-Kody (Joseph) of Pittsford, NY, Patricia Cameron of Boulder, CO and Martha Cameron of Syracuse, NY; six grandchildren: Jessica, Hillary and Margaret Kody, Alexander and Matthew Cameron, and Patrick Mahar.A luncheon gathering for friends and family will be held Thursday, November 8 at 11:30 am at the St. Charles Yacht Club, 15900 St. Charles Harbour Boulevard (off Iona Rd), Ft. Myers.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hope Hospice of Fort Myers, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft.
