HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Arthur Lee (Meatball) Parks, 59, of 4875 Old Waynesboro Road, died on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Edgefield County SC, son of the late Addie Parks Cartledge and Rufus Cartledge. He was a member of the Liberty Spring Baptist Church. He is survived by: daughter, Angela Tina (Burdell) Mason, Greenwood, SC; his father and stepmother, Rufus and Opal Cartledge, Washington, DC; three brothers, Dexter (Mary) Cartledge, Hephzibah, GA and Clarence E. Parks, Indianola, Miss., Anthony (Carolyn) Cartledge, Washington, DC; three sisters, Angela (Michael) Parks, Washington, DC, Antoneita (Ron) Parham, Richmond, VA and Antonelle Cartledge, Upper Marlboro, MD; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Liberty Spring Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
