Arline Lee Young, 81, of Scottsboro, formerly of Florence, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. She was a native of Lauderdale County and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Scottsboro. She was a restorative artist at Sharp Studios and a photographer for Olan Mills Studios for a number of years.Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Smart and son-in-law, Dr. Robert Gamble, officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil L. Young; father and mother, Earnest and Floy Moody; and sister, Molly Maddox.Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Young Gamble and husband, Dr. Robert Gamble, of Scottsboro, and Teresa Young Williams, of Brewton, Ala.; brothers, Charles and Thomas W. Moody, of Florence; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Chad Yerbey, Alex Richardson, Ronnie Moody, John Moody, Joe Poss and Andy White.Arline's favorite pasttime was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and always shared her catch.
