Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Annie Bell Patterson, 84, Gadsden, with the Revs. Dennis Johnson, Dan Meadows and Eddie Stephens officiating. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Hokes Bluff.Mrs. Patterson was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Patterson; parents, Hilburn and Della May Jordan; grandchildren, Kaleb Chapman and Leighann Patterson; and her sister and brothers.Survivors are her daughters, Virginia (Jimmy) Stargell, Myra (Pat) Martin, Carolyn Bellew, Janey Gray, Susan (Charlie Harrell) Patterson, Mary Ellen (Thomas) Campbell; sons, Marshell (Diane) Patterson and Tommy Patterson; chosen family, Larry and Charlsey Gamblin, Denia Hope, Patricia Turner; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be J.R. King, James Vaughn and Charlie Patterson.Special thanks to Gentiva Home Health and Hospice, and Altoona Health Care.Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8.
