Anne M. Farrell resident of Shirley for past 30 years; 60 Shirley Anne M. (Tighe) Farrell, 60, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Farrell was born in Cambridge, April 27, 1948 a daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Keefe) Tighe and has resided in Shirley for the past thirty years. Mrs. Farrell was employed for the past ten years for the Town of Ayer as an emergency service dispatcher. Prior to that she was employed for the Town of Shirley as an emergency service dispatcher. Mrs. Farrell enjoyed yard sales and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Farrell is survived by her husband Thomas P. Farrell of Waltham, two daughters; Christine A. Farrell of Spokane, Washington, Debra J. Hall of Shirley, four brothers; Thomas Tighe of Ogunquit, Maine, James Tighe of Cohasset, Paul Tighe of Billerica, Richard Tighe of Arlington, one sister; Theresa Ladd of Connecticut, five grandchildren; Alyssa Farrell, Emilie Farrell, Robert Hall, Ella Hall, Alexa Kamenski and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Farrell was the sister of the late Robert Tighe. FARRELL A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday, November 14 at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix St, Shirley. Burial will be in Shirley Center Cemetery in Shirley. Calling hours are from 4-8 Thursday at the T. J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road (RT.2A), Ayer.
