Anna T. Sawyer HOLLAND, PA- Anna T. Sawyer, 91, of Morrisville, PA, and Lauderdale by the Sea, FL, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Twining Hall Health Center, Holland, PA. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Sawyer had been a resident of Lauderdale by the Sea and Morrisville. She was employed as a sales clerk at Nevius Voorhees Department Store in Trenton. Mrs. Sawyer was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1936, where she was an outstanding athlete in her junior and senior years; she also played in the school band. Mrs. Sawyer served as a judge at the board of elections and was a member of the P.T.A. and the Has Beens Club. Most of all, she was the proud mother of her four sons, and was married to her late husband, Vincent Sawyer, for 57 years. Wife of the late Vincent E. Sawyer Sr., and daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine (Skull) Flesh, she is survived by her four sons, Vincent E. Sawyer Jr. and his wife, Judith, of Morrisville, PA, Terrence J. Sawyer and his wife, Susan E., of Yardley, PA, Thomas H. Sawyer III and his wife, Judith, of Yardley, PA, and Dr. Patrick D. Sawyer and his wife, Celeste, of Langhorne, PA; five grandchildren, Michael, Vincent E. III, Timothy, Brian and Thomas H. IV, and four great-grandchildren. Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions made in her name to Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA.
