<!-- FH = Webb -->Anna Lee JarrettSpruce Pine - Anna Lee Jarrett, age 83, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Brian Center Health & Rehab in Spruce Pine.She was born is Spruce Pine, NC on March 25, 1930 to the late Coy and Lena Wiseman Ellis. In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law; Jo Etta Hollifield and husband, J.D. and Jane Cook and husband, Bill.Anna Lee married Lewis Jarrett on October 3, 1948. She worked in Quality Control at the American Thread Company for twenty-two years. She was an active member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church and later, Ledger Baptist Church. She made many celebrations possible, from having family holidays in her home to giving showers and weddings for friends and neighbors. Anna Lee and Lewis traveled around the states for fifteen years after retiring. Anna Lee never met a stranger and was happiest entertaining in her home. We will never forget all the love and caring she has given family, friends, and those she came in contact with.Mrs. Anna Lee Jarrett leaves behind her husband, Lewis Jarrett of Spruce Pine; her daughter, Kathy Austin and husband, Eubert; her sisters; Lucy Dale and husband, Harold and June Fritchett; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.The funeral service for Mrs. Anna Lee Jarrett will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Ledger Baptist Church with the Rev's. Greg Hollifield, Ken Hollifield, and Don Stafford officiating.The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Ledger Baptist Church. Entombment will be in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.
