ANN TIERNEY of HarpursvilleAnn Tierney, 84, went to be with the Lord Wednesday afternoon, April 25, 2001 at the Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Susan Boles; and two brothers-in-law, Fran Kowarek and Andre Muska. She is survived by two sons, Robert C. Hunt and his wife, Mary Lee, New Carlisle, Oh., William R. Hunt and his wife, Elizabeth Hunt, Harpursville; three grandsons, Jeffrey, Christopher and Tyson Hunt; two granddaughters, Angela Hunt and Mrs. Carmen (Wendy) Sarge; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Suzanne Muska, Wilmington, N.C., Mary Kowarek, Endwell and Veronica and Jack Howell, Denver, Colo.; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Joyce Bolas, Vestal; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend during her illness, Frank Prokop. She was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church. She had been an employee of Ansco, Harpur College and a former hostess at the Binghamton Sheraton Inn. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9 a.m. at the Chopyak-Schieder Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street and 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton, where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by the Very Rev. James Dutko. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service Friday, 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Friday 5 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ann's memory to St. Michael's Church.
