BAILLIE _ Ann Marie (Carr), born June 8, 1940 passed away November 27, 2005 at St. Paul's Hospital where she was born. Predeceased by parents Toma and Anna Carr and brothers Drago and Tomo Carr all born in Crikvencia, Croatia. Lovingly remembered by husband Bruce; son Thomas Gordon; daughter Sandra Lee Ann Baillie and grandson Zachary Bruce Baillie who was the apple of her eye. Annie was a strong, warm-hearted woman, who was loved by anyone she met. Both humorous and kind, her family was her life. She loved to garden and could make anything blossom beyond belief. Family and friends have rose bushes planted and named in their honour. "Uncle Ralph" gave her exceptional pride. Her second home was in Palm Desert, California which gave her so very much enjoyment along with her close friends and garden. Annie loved to golf and decorate and was a great cook. She was not only my best friend but also my soul mate. If tears could build a stairway, And memories are lanes, I would walk right up to heaven, And bring you home again. _ Written by Annie just before she got sick. A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver, BC on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. A special thank you is extended to the staff of St. Paul's Hospital for all their care and understanding.
