Anita P. Olson -- July 5, 1911 -- March 28, 2005 -- PUTNAM-- Anita Pamela (Bernier) Olson, 93, passed away peacefully Monday March 28, 2005 in a local nursing home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur Olson in 1955. Born in Putnam, she lived here all her life, working as a Winder in Belding Hemingway Co. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Visitation Church, and a member of the Catholic League of Women there. She was also a member of Senior Citzens of Brooklyn and Senior Citizens of Putnam. Anita is survived by her two nephews Gerard Bernier of Scotland CT and Paul Bernier of Jacksonville FL. Besides her husband Arthur, she was predeceased by her brother Dolor Bernier and her sister Gertrude Bernier. The funeral will be Thursday from Gilman Funeral Home at 9:30 AM with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 11 AM, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 9:3010:30 AM prior to Mass.
