GALLAGHER, Andrew (Andy)June 19, 1924 – November 13, 2014It is with heavy hearts that the family of Andy Gallagher announce his passing at the Royal Alexandra hospital at the age of 90. He will be affectionately remembered by Marion, his loving wife of 21 years; his daughter Cheryl (Greg) Cripps; his stepdaughter Debbie Channer; his grandchildren Amy (David) Beart, Beau Cripps (Becca Hoffert), and Abe (Jocelyn) Cripps; and his great- grandchildren Owen and Abby Beart, and Georgia and Caitlin Cripps; and brother-in- law Michael Jerman. Andy will also be missed by his extended family and close friends.Andy was predeceased by his first wife Enid, his son Garry, and his brothers Walter, Leonard, Chester, Archie, Denzel, Seaford, and Kelly.Andy bravely served in the Second World War and the Korean War. He was a proud member of the armed forces for 29 years and was a dedicated member of the Korean Veterans' Association Unit 21 and the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps Association. Andy was a scout master in the 1960s and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels until he was 82.Andy excelled at everything he did and enjoyed many pastimes, including square dancing, bowling, darts, horseshoes, cribbage, carpentry and camping. He took great pleasure spending time with his family. The grandchildren and great- grandchildren all have cherished memories of their beloved Poppa.
