COLONIE Alma C. Allen, 90, died Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the Albany County Nursing Home, Colonie. She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late William and Lillian Maneval Hoffman. She had resided in Albany all of her life and was employed by the Capital District Transportation Authority for many years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Roessleville Presbyterian Church, Colonie, life member of the Herbert Kuhn Senior Citizens and the Roessleville Leisure Club. Alma was the wife of the late Robert Joseph Allen; mother of Earl F. (Sylvia) Allen, Colonie and Robert W. (Joyce) Allen of Albany; grandchildren, Stephan W. (Jean)Allen, Pamela Allen, Stephanie (Robert) Clauson, Nikki (Brian) Caruso, Kim (Mark) Moran, Kevin Allen; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Matthew and Katie. A memorial service will be Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Frederick Funeral Home, 633 Central Avenue, Albany. Interment will be held in Evergreen Memorial Park. Those who wish may make contributions to the Roessleville Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association.
