After a short term as a teacher she married and set her focus on raising a family and managing the family farm business and apiary. These became her life's work and she excelled. Mum was an excellent cook who loved having her family for dinners. She also loved gardening, reading, playing cards and other games. In her whole life she was an active, informed and vocal citizen. Mum was a well-respected and devoted member of Trinity New California United Church, working in the UCW and Sunday school for many years. A former member of Women's Institute and Kingsville Friendly Club. This past year has been a less than fulfilling experience for her as her health finally weakened, but she was clear, bright and cheerful to the end. Our heartfelt thanks for support and service to Mum go to the caring staff at Southgate Residence, LDMH, CCAC, Red Cross, Dr. Kelton and Connie Heath. Friends will be received at theC.
